About The Artist

Sumeesh K Shanmughan completed his Mural Painting Diploma from the Malayalam Kalagramam in Mahe.

He has visited prominent mural art centers in Kerala. He has absorbed experiences and lessons from leading mural painters. He has studied various reference books on mural art. All these experiences helped him to develop his own unique style in painting.

One of his great achievements was painting the Sree Krishna Charitam at Mathura Railway Station, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, at the request of Hema Malini, who was the MP there.

Another contribution of his to mural art is the painting known as the History of Ayurveda, which he created for the International Ayurveda Meet held in Kozhikode.

He has completed numerous massive mural paintings in several cities both inside and outside Kerala. Additionally, he conducts mural art workshops for corporate institutions and educational establishments.
